FAQ
Questions about Zinc.
What does zinc actually do for immunity?
It's a working component of immune defense: shown to slow viral replication and required for immune cell production and signaling. Deficiency measurably weakens response — which matters because zinc is easy to run low on and hard to megadose orally.
Why not just take zinc lozenges?
For a mild daily trickle they're fine. But meaningful oral doses are notorious for nausea, and absorption competes with food and other minerals. The IV delivers the full dose cleanly, once, without the stomach argument.
When's the best time to book it?
Before and early: season openers (back-to-school, holiday travel) and the first-symptom day. Zinc's evidence is strongest at the start of the fight, not the middle.
Zinc vs. Immune Boost vs. Cold & Flu?
This is the focused single. Immune Boost adds vitamin C and glutathione for broad early defense; Cold & Flu adds medication for when you're already sick. Escalate accordingly — or start here and add C at checkout.
Can I get too much zinc?
Chronically, yes — excess zinc interferes with copper over time, which is why our doses are clinical, not heroic, and screening asks about your supplement stack. Sensible dosing is the whole craft.
How fast can a nurse get to me?
Same-day is available across most of Palm Beach County — morning slots go first, so book early in the day if you can. You’ll pick your preferred time at checkout and our dispatch team confirms it.
Does insurance cover it? Can I use my HSA/FSA?
IV wellness therapy typically isn’t covered by insurance, which is why we keep pricing transparent up front. Many clients successfully use HSA/FSA cards — check with your plan provider.
Is it safe? Who administers it?
Every visit is performed by a licensed registered nurse under physician-written protocols, with a health screening before your first treatment. Ingredients are pharmaceutical-grade, prepared for your visit.
Not a fan of needles — what’s it like?
One quick, comfortable insertion by an experienced RN, then you’re just relaxing while it runs. Most clients tell us it was far easier than they expected.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens — reschedule or cancel free of charge with 24+ hours’ notice. Within 24 hours of the appointment, a cancellation fee may apply.
